Selection method
Cheemi-tech has a wide range of current, voltage sensors, and transformers with complete specifications and a variety of shapes and connection methods to choose from. Pls refer to the following choosing method, you can get the proper type you need.
1. Firstly, determine the sensor type you need based on the requirements of your system design.
1.1 Power supply---is there a power supply?
1.2 Power supply---dual power supply or single power supply?
1.3 Is it current or voltage that needs to be measured?
1.4 What is the value of the measured current or voltage?
1.5 Is the measured current AC,DC or Pulse Current?
1.6 Are there any requirements for the response time and also Accuracy of the sensor?
2. Secondly, determine the sensor installation method and mechanical installation dimensions, for example: PCB board installation, through-hole installation, or guide rail installation, etc.
3.Finally, you need to consider the on-site use environment such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, energy, light, dust, vibration, noise, electromagnetic field and radiation interference. Please contact our sales staff or technical personnel for details.
Precautions for using hall effect current and voltage sensors
1. When connecting wire, pay attention to the exposed conductive parts of the terminals and try to prevent ESD impacts. Engineers with professional construction experience are required to perform wiring operations on this product. The connecting wires of power supply, input and output must be connected correctly and cannot be misplaced or reversed, otherwise the product may be damaged.
2. The product installation and use environment should be free of conductive dust and corrosiveness
3. Severe vibration or high temperature may also cause product damage, so you must pay attention to the application environment.
Application of Hall Effect Current Sensors in Rail Transit
In the traction system of a locomotive or EMU, high-precision voltage and current sensors are used to measure the voltage and current signals at the grid end and the traction motor end. High-precision sensors convert high-voltage signals or high-current signals into weak current analog signals to facilitate the identification of back-end acquisition equipment.
Application of Hall Effect Current Sensors in UPS power supply system
In the UPS power system, the closed-loop Hall effect current sensor is used to measure the output current, and the UPS controller performs feedback control based on this current to ensure the normal operation of the inverter power supply. Due to its fast response time, it is particularly suitable for uninterruptible power supplies in computers.
Application of Hall Effect Current Sensors in photovoltaic new energy system
Hall effect current sensors play an important role in monitoring and controlling photovoltaic power generation systems. In photovoltaic power generation systems, the magnitude and flow direction of current are important indicators for monitoring and control. Hall effect current sensors can measure and monitor the output current of photovoltaic panels with high precision, and transmit these current signals to the inverter. The inverter controls and adjusts based on these signals to ensure the stability of the photovoltaic power generation system and efficiency.
Application of Hall Effect Current Sensors in electric welding machines
In the welding machine power supply, the Hall effect current sensor plays a measurement and control role. Its fast response can reproduce current and voltage waveforms and feed them back to controllable rectifiers A and B to control their output. Using a chopper to superimpose DC with AC can control the current more accurately. Using Hall effect current sensors for current detection can measure the true instantaneous value of the current without introducing losses.
Application of Hall Effect Current Sensors in new energy vehicles
A current sensor is a device that converts a current signal into another analyzable signal. In the field of electric vehicles, the main application scenarios of current sensors include: BMS current monitoring, current monitoring on motor controllers, PDU current monitoring, OBC, DC/DC current monitoring, leakage current detection of charging piles, etc.
During the battery charging and discharging process, the automotive battery management system can use hall effect current sensors to collect the charging and discharging current of each battery in the electric vehicle's power battery pack in real time to prevent the battery from overcharging or overdischarging. In addition, relying on the hall effect current sensor, the battery management system can also detect the battery power consumption and provide the battery status in a timely manner, effectively preventing battery leakage, insulation damage and local short circuits, and then selecting the correct battery status.
Problems with the battery ensure the reliability and efficiency of the entire battery pack.
